If you are planning your family holiday in London, one of the very first things you will need to do is to choose the right accommodation. Some of the basic requirements in choosing a hotel for families are the type of rooms, preferably family rooms and the spaces dedicated to children. And then again, the proximity of your accommodation to the main attractions of London or to the underground stops for easy travel.
I am an Italian mom who has lived in London for 6 years , and I have selected for you the best facilities for families considering the reviews of families who have chosen my travel guide services.
I also considered the online reviews and the location of the hotel in relation to the main attractions.
ACCOMMODATION FOR FAMILIES NEAR THE TOWER BRIDGE
LEONARDO ROYAL

Leonardo Royal London Tower Bridge, London
The Leonardo Royal London Tower Bridge is at 5 minutes walk from Tower Hill stop. The main advantage of this property is that the rooms are huge and for London this is definitely a plus.
The hotel is modern, and it has available in each room the Nespresso machine and the 25-meter swimming pool with hydromassage. If you manage to get the room on the upper floors, you will certainly enjoy a wonderful view over the city as well.
If you fly to Stansted it is certainly convenient, being close to Liverpool Street.
PREMIER INN ALDGATE

Premier Inn Aldgate
Premier Inn are known known for its value for money. Premier Inns are particularly suitable for families, precisely because they have large and family rooms. Also, if you book in advance, you can afford to stay in one of the most central areas of London for under € 100, which is a big deal for London.
It is an economic chain, so you have to adapt a little and it also goes to luck with respect to the location of the room.
The location is great if you fly to Stansted .
HOTEL FOR FAMILIES NEAR LONDON EYE AND BIG BEN
The choice of accommodation where to sleep in London with children cannot fail to take into consideration some aspects such as the size of the rooms.
PARK PLAZA WESTMINSTER BRIDGE

Park Plaza Westminster Bridge
The Park Plaza Westminster Bridge is located on the south bank of the Thames, a stone’s throw from Waterloo station . I would recommend this hotel for several reasons: the location, because in addition to being a stone’s throw from Big Ben and the London Eye, it is also close to the large pedestrianized South Bank , full of clubs. In addition, the hotel has real studios with double bed and sofa bed, perfect for a family.
There is also the spa and swimming pool which is open to children until 8pm!
I also point out that if you travel on Gatwick , Waterloo station is on the railway line that passes through the airport to London and you can therefore reduce the hotel-airport transfer to less than an hour, which for London it is very little.

WHERE TO STAY IN LONDON WITH CHILDREN NEAR COVENT GARDEN
One of the most loved areas of London, one of the most iconic: Covent Garden. Here you are close to all of London’s major attractions and you are close to the theater area!
Z HOTEL COVENT GARDEN

Z Hotel Covent Garden – Copyright Z Hotel
This is a special choice: it is designed for families with children old enough to sleep in a bunk bed. The rooms are not large, but we are located in the heart of London, right in Covent Garden.
This chain has a very neat and modern interior, but the family room has no window .
Considering that when you are in London you go back to the hotel only to sleep, I recommend this choice because the hotel is modern and the location is great.
FIELDING HOTEL
The Fielding Hotel opposite the Royal Opera House in the heart of central London and a 5 minute walk from Covent Garden Market.
Compared to the other hotels proposed so far, this one is located in a period building. The hotel is finely renovated, offers free WiFi and the rooms are bright.
I selected this hotel for the Queen room which I find perfect for families, with the two connecting rooms but autonomous.
RESIDENCE INN BY MARRIOTT

Residence Kensington Inn By Merriott
The Residence Inn by Merriott has mini apartments with equipped kitchens. Perfect for families, they also welcome four-legged friends and is a 3-minute walk from Kensington High Street, a street full of shops and eateries.
Siete vicini sia ai musei, che a Hyde Park che a Notting Hill.
